Undergraduate at Northwestern University
I am a fourth-year undergraduate at Northwestern University studying Linguistics and Computer Science, with a minor in Asian American Studies. I am advised by Professor Ann Bradlow in the Linguistics Department.
I am interested in exploring how people understand and produce language, particularly in bilingual and multilingual contexts, as well as building speech and language technologies that are more accessible, equitable, and responsive to real-world communication.
Outside of research, I enjoy photography, reading, watching movies, bouldering, and following FORMULA 1.
Developed a corpus of 630 speech samples from FORMULA 1 drivers in the 2024 season. Selected stimuli from the corpus for experiments to see how background noise, written context, and speaker language background affect speech intelligibility in high-stakes, high-stress environments.
